Dr. Kai-Fang Cheng

Dr. Kai-Fang Cheng is the Deputy Director of the Industrial Service Department at the Taiwan Textile Research Institute (TTRI) and a distinguished economist specializing in the textile and apparel industry. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from National Taiwan University and a Master’s degree in International Trade from National Chengchi University. With extensive experience in industrial policy, market intelligence, and global supply chain analysis, Dr. Cheng has played a key advisory role to several departments under Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs.

She is widely recognized for her contributions to sustainable textile industry development, digital transformation strategies, and international trade analysis. A frequent speaker at major international forums including APEC and ACFIF conferences, Dr. Cheng is regarded as a leading voice on the future of the Asian textile and apparel industry.
